Rene I D' was born on January 10th, 1409 in Chateau d'Angers, France. Rene I D''s father was Louis II D' Anjou and his mother was Yolande D' Aragon. His paternal grandparents were Louis I De Valois D' Anjou and Marie De Chatillon; his maternal grandparents were Juan I D' Aragon and Yolande De Bar. He had a brother and two sisters, named Louis III D', Marie D' and Yolande D'. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 71 on July 10th, 1480 in Aix-En-Provence, France.
