Amaury I D'+ was born in 1135. Amaury I D'+'s father was Foulques V Plantagenet D'+ Anjou and his mother was Melisende De+ Rethel. His paternal grandparents were Foulques IV De Gatinais D'+ Anjou and Bertrade De+ Montfort; his maternal grandparents were Baudouin II De+ Rethel and Morphia De+ Melitene. He had a brother named Baudouin III D'. He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Helie D', Geoffroi V Plantagenet D'+, Sibylla D'+ and Mathilde Plantagenet D'. He died at the age of 39 in 1174.-
