Gerberge D' was born after 1015. Gerberge D''s father was Geoffrey I Taillefer D'+ Angouleme and her mother was Petronille De+ Archiac. Her paternal grandparents are Guillaume II Taillefer D'+ Angouleme and Gerberge D'+ Anjou. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Geoffrey Galfridus Taillefer D'+, Foulques I Taillefer D'+, Barrelde D' and Humberge De Taillefer D'+. She was the second oldest of the five children.
