Giraud III was born about 1190. Giraud III's father was Giraud II Amic and his mother was Alix De Urgel. His paternal grandparents are Giraud Amic I De Sabran and Galburge De Caylar; his maternal grandfather was Bertrand I De+ Urgel and his maternal grandmother is Josserande De+ Flotte.
