Sir Hervey de Glanville 
Hervey was born in 1095 in Eye, Suffolk, England. Hervey's father was Hervey de Glanville and his mother was Matilda de Salt-les-Dames. His paternal grandparents were Sire Ranulph de Glanville and Flandrina de Suffolk; his maternal grandfather is Roger de Salt-les-Dames. He had two brothers named Gerard and Ranulph. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 52 in 1147.-
