Roger was born in 1068 in Berkeley Castle, Thornbury, Gloucester. Roger's father was Lord Roger de Berkeley I of Dursley and his mother is Rissa of England. His paternal grandfather is Lord William de Berkeley. He was an only child. He died at the age of 63 on September 29th, 1131.General Notes
