Petronille was born in Annonay, Haute-Savoie, Rhone-Alpes, France. Petronille's father is Seigneur Artaud d'Annonay and her mother is Petronille de Grenoble. Her maternal grandfather is de Grenoble. She was an only child. She died before 1070.
‌Petronille and Guiges Pinguis were married in a religious ceremony on April 27th, 1050. They had a son named Guiges.
