Castellan Hugh d'Oisy I of Douai 
Hugh was born in Douai, near Lille, Flanders, France. Hugh's father was Hugues de Douai and his mother is Adele d'Oisy. His maternal grandfather was Castellan Gauthier II d'Oisy of Cambrai and his maternal grandmother is Ermentrude. He was an only child. He died after 1051 in Austria-Hungary.
Hugh and Adela were married in a religious ceremony about 1030. They had four sons named Winimar, Hugh, Walter and Rainer.
