Taksony, known as "the Hun", was born in 0931 in Szekesfehervar, Fejer, Hungary. "the Hun"'s father was Prince Zoltan of Hungary and his mother is Princess Men von Bihar. His paternal grandfather was Prince Arpad of Hungary and his paternal grandmother is of Pannonia; his maternal grandfather is Prince Maroth von Bihar of the Bihar Khazars. He was an only child.
