Marchese Aleramo Montferrat

Aleramo was born about 0940 in Savona, Liguria, Italy.  Aleramo's father was Count Guglielmus di Montferrat of Torresana and his mother is Alice d'Italia.  His paternal grandfather is Aliverto de Montferrat. He had a brother named Aleramo.  He was the older of the two children.  He died after 0991.

‌Aleramo and Gerberga were married in a religious ceremony in 0961.  They had two sons named Anselmo and Anselm.
