Rachel Johnston

Rachel was born in 1749 in Westmoreland County, Virginia.  Rachel's father was Matthew William Johnston Sr. and her mother is Nancy Spalding.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 57 in 1806 in Kentucky.

‌Rachel and Daniel S. were married in a religious ceremony in 1776 in Virginia.  They had a son named William R..
