Her paternal grandfather was King Warnechin of Saxony & Engern and her paternal grandmother is Kunhilde von Rugen; her maternal grandfather was King Eystein ("Fret") Halfdansson and her maternal grandmother is Hild Ericsdottir. She had a brother and four sisters, named Wigebart, von Sachsen, Hasada, Heilwig and Hasela. She has a half-brother named Wittekind.-
