Giberto was born about 1250. Giberto's father was Guy da Corregio and his mother is Mabile Della Gente. His maternal grandfather is Guibert Della Gente. He is an only child.
Giberto and Helena were married in a religious ceremony in 1285. They have a daughter named Beatrice.
