Marcus Livius Drusus' father was Tribune Marcus Livius Major Drusus ("the Elder") of Rome and his mother is Servilia Caepia.  His paternal grandparents are Consul Marcus Livius Drusus ("the Elder") of Rome and Cornelia Scipionis of Rome; his maternal grandfather was Consul Quintus Servilius Caepio of Rome and his maternal grandmother is Metalla of Rome. He has a sister named Alfidia. He had a half-sister named Livia Drusa.

They had a daughter named Livia Drucilla Julia Augusta.
