King Ashot I ("the Great") Bagratuni of Armenia

Ashot I, known as "the Great", was born about 0845. "the Great"'s father was Prince Smbat VIII Ablabas Bagratuni of Armenia and his mother is Rhipsime. His paternal grandfather was Prince Ashot Bagratuni IV of Armenia. He was an only child. He died in 0890.
