Mary Winthrop 
Mary was born on March 1st, 1544 in Groton, Suffolk, England.1 Mary's father was Adam Winthrop and her mother was Agnes Sharpe. Her paternal grandparents are Adam Winthrop and Jane Burton (Burnol); her maternal grandparents are Richard Sharpe and UNKNOWN Elizabeth. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Adam, John, Adam, Alice, Bridget, Catherine and Susanna. She is the third oldest of the eight children.
