Richard Hungerford 
Richard was born in 1542 in of Down Ampney, Gloucestershire, England. Richard's father was John Hungerford and his mother is Bridget or Margaret Fettiplace. His paternal grandfather was Anthony Hungerford and his paternal grandmother is Janet Darrell; his maternal grandparents were John Fettiplace and Dorothy Danvers. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Anthony, Henry, Anne, Bridget, Dorothy, Mary and Susan. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 38 in 1580.1 General Notes
