Christopher was born about 1444 in of Stanton Oxfordshire, England. Christopher's father was Richard Harcourt and his mother was Edith (Elizabeth) Saint Claire. His paternal grandfather was Thomas de Harcourt and his paternal grandmother is Joan Francis; his maternal grandparents are THOMAS SAINT CLAIRE and MARGARET HOO. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Edward, William, Anne and Alice. He was the oldest of the five children. He died in 1474.1 General Notes
