Symon Jacobse van Winkle

Symon Jacobse was born in 1653 in Jersey City, Hudson Co., Nj.¹   Symon Jacobse's father was Jacobse Wallings van Winkle Immigrant and his mother is Tryntje (Catherine) Jacobs. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Waling Jacobse, Jacob Jacobse, Marritje Jacobse, Grietje and Annetje Jacobse.  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 79 in 1732 in Jersey City, Hudson Co., Nj.¹
