Domnall Remar macMáel na was born about 0978.¹   Domnall Remar macMáel na's father was Donnchad Máel na mBó King of Ui Cheinnselaig and his mother is Aife ingen Gilla Pátraic. He had a brother named Diarmait.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died in 1041.¹
