Alice was born in 1219 in Beaudesert, Warwickshire, England. Alice's father was Henry de Aldithley , Sir, Sheriff\Staffordshire and her mother is Bertred de Mainwaring. Her paternal grandfather was Adam de Aldithley , Sir and her paternal grandmother is Emma FitzOrm; her maternal grandparents are Ralph Le Mesnilwarin , Sir, Justice of Chester and Amicia de Keveliock de Meschines. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, Ralf and Emma.
They had a son named Peter.
