His paternal grandparents are Samuel Stanfield and Jane Andrew; his maternal grandparents were Simon Hadley II and Ruth Keran Miller. He had two brothers named Samuel and Thomas. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Simon, John, Rebecca and Ruth. He died after 1803 in Surry County, Nc.1 -
