Pagan (Pain) was born about 1060 in Of,Brunne,Cambridgeshire,England.  Pagan (Pain)'s father was Ranulph Peverell and his mother is of England Ingelrica.  His paternal grandfather is Ranulph de wrenoc; his maternal grandfather is Of England Ingelric. He had three brothers and a sister, named William  "The Elder", Robert, Hamon and Emma.  He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother named William "The Elder".  He died in Brunne, Cambridgeshire, England.
