Sarah was born on December 27th, 1631 in Great Bentley, Essex Co.,England.1 Sarah's father was Matthew Marvin I and her mother was Elizabeth Gregory. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Marvin and Margaret Gyllyat; her maternal grandparents were Henry Gregory and Goody. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Matthew, Elizabeth, Mary, Hannah, Abigail, Rebecca and Lydia. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Samuel and Rachel. She died about 1702 in Stratford, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.-
