John Marvin 
John was born on September 2nd, 1678 in Norwalk, Fairfield Co., Connecticut. John's father was Matthew Marvin II and his mother was Mary Brush. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Marvin I and Elizabeth Gregory. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Matthew, Samuel, Mary, Mercy, Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died in Sharon, Connecticut.-
