John Marshill 
John was born on January 4th, 1749 in Augusta, Va.1 John's father was William Marshall and his mother was Rebecca Dixon. His paternal grandparents were Jacob (Marshill) Marshall and Ann Griffith; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Dixon and Hannah Hadley. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Jacob, William, Hannah, Deborah, Ruth, Rebecca, Anna, Emey and Dinah. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 on April 13th, 1815 in Cane Creek, North Caroli. He was buried in Cane Creek, Orange, Nc.1 General Notes
