Louis II "the Stammerer" was born on November 1st, 0846.  Louis II "the Stammerer"'s father was Charles II "the Bald" King of West Franks and his mother was Ermentrude De Orleans Countess.  His maternal grandparents were Count Eudes De Orleans Count and Engeltrude De Paris. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Charles of Aquitane, Lothar the Lame, Carloman, Judith, Rotrude of Poitiers, Hildegard, Gisele and Ermentrude (Hersent).  He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Drogo, Pippin, Charles and Rothilde.  He died at the age of 32 on April 10th, 0879 in Compiegne, Oise, France.
