Still have to check th is out from England.**** In 1974, Ronald E. Chamness was visiting in Lond on, engaged a genealogist, a Mr. Ringrose, to research records. At St. Jo hns of Wapping in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets he found at St. Pet er's Church, the records of the older St. John's Church, showing the marr iage of Ann Wearey to John Chamniss on 4 Jan. 1704 (later changed from Gr egorian Calendar).
Ann and John were married in a religious ceremony on January 4th, 1704 in East Smithfield, London, England.1 They had a son named Anthony.
