William Ferrers 
William was born about 1030 in Ferrieres,Saint Hilaire,Eure,Normandy. William's father was Walchelin de Ferrers. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Hugh, Henry de, Gundreda and Isabel. He died before 1080.General Notes
Elder bro. of Henri de Ferrieres; son of Walkelin de Ferrers; present at the Battle of Hastings, undoubtedly well advanced in years at that time; died before the compilation of Domesday. [Falaise Roll, p. 56]
