Bertha was born in 0964 in Bourgogne, France.1   Bertha's father was I King of Both Burgundies Conrad and her mother was of France, Queen of Burgundy Matilda.  Her paternal grandparents were King of Burgundy Rudolph II and Bertha of Swabia, Queen of Burgundy; her maternal grandparents were 'transmarinus' King of France Louis IV and Gerberga von Sachsen Princess of Germany. She had a brother and two sisters, named King of Burgundy, Princess of Burgundy and Matilda of Burgundy.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died after 1017 in Blois, Loir-et-Cher, Orleanais/Centre, France.1

‌Bertha and Count of Blois were married in a religious ceremony.2   They had five sons and a daughter, named Count Of Blois, Robert, Eudes II, Dietrich, II Count of Blois and Bertha of Blois, Duchess of Britany.
