Welf d'Argengau was born about 0830.  Welf d'Argengau's father was Conrad d'Argengau Count of Paris and his mother was Adelaide de Tours & Alsace. He had two brothers named Conrad II d'Auxerre and Hugh d'Auxerre.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers named Eudes and Robert I.  He died before 0876.
