Petronilla was born about 1225 in <Caus, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England>.1 Petronilla's father was Thomas Corbet Baron of Caus and her mother is Isabell de Valletort. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Corbet and Emma Pantolph (pantulf). She had four brothers and five sisters, named Peter, Roger, Robert, Nicholas, Venice, Emma, Alice, Winnewine and Elizabeth.
