Constantine VIII's father was Romanos II Emperor of the Roman Emp and his mother is Theophano Empress of the Byzantine.  His paternal grandparents were Konstantinos VII Emperor of the Rom and Eleni (Helena) Lekapene. He had a sister named Anna of Byzantia.  He died in 1028.
