John I de was born in 1258 in <, Amington, Warwick, England>.1 John I de's father was Thomas de Clinton and his mother was Maud Bracebridge. His paternal grandparents were Thomas de Clinton and Mezera de Bisege; his maternal grandparents were Ralph Bracebridge and Mezera de Bisege. He had a brother and two sisters, named Osbert de, Alionore and Alice. He was the youngest of the four children. He died before 1313.1 General Notes
