Rutger I Count of was born about 0962. Rutger I Count of's father was Arnulf II Count De Flanders and Artois and his mother was Rosele Susanna Princess of Italy. He had two brothers named Baudouin IV "Le Barbu" Count of and Eudes Count of. He is the oldest of the three children.General Notes
