Emma de was born in 0954 in Blois, France.1 Emma de's father was "The Cheat" Count of Blois Theobald I and her mother was Princess Luitgarde (Ledgard) de Vermandois. Her paternal grandparents were Theobald, Thibaut de Tours Count Of Troyes "Elder of Blois" and Princess Princess Of France Hildebrante; her maternal grandparents were Ct. Herbert II Count of Troyes & Vermandois and Princess Princess Of France Hildebrante. She had five brothers and a sister, named Tetbald, Theobald de, Hugo, Count of Blois, Hugo of and Hildegarde de Chartres le. She died at the age of 50 in 1004.2 General Notes
