William Bigod 
William was born about 1090 in of Framlingham,,Suffolk,England. William's father was Roger de Maltot Bigod Seigneur and his mother was Alice Adeliza De Toeni. His paternal grandparents were Robert The Younger Bigod and Adeliza de Grentmesnil; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Toeni Castellan of Stafford and Adela Adeliza Osule de Savona. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Hervey Fitz Bagod, Hugh, Maud, Cecily, Jane and Gunnora. He died in 1120 in White Ship,English Channel.General Notes

household to Henry I. [Magna Charta Barons, p. 77]
Went down with the White Ship. Was dapifer to the king and was succeeded by his
brother Hugh, who was also steward of the king's household. [Falaise Roll, p.
98]
Oldest son of Roger Bigod; went down with the White Ship in 1120. [Victoria
History of Suffolk, p. 165]
Lord of Framlingham; dapifer to the king and perished with the king's children
and several of the nobility in the wreck of the White Ship, which occurred in
the 20th year of King Henry I. William was succeeded by his brother, Hugh.
