John Betts 
John was born on June 30th, 1650 in Guilford, Connecticut. John's father was Thomas Betts and his mother was Mary Raymond. His paternal grandparents were John Betts and Mary Bigge; his maternal grandfather was George Raymond III and his maternal grandmother is Jane Aylett. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Stephen, Daniel, Samuel, James, Mary, Hannah and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died before June 23rd, 1730 in Wilton, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.-
