Reverend James Ashton 
James was born in 1639 in , , England.1 James' father is James Ashton and his mother was Alice. He was an only child. He died at the age of 66 in 1705 in Middletown, Monmouth, New Jersey.1 
James and Deliverance were married in a religious ceremony on May 25th, 1699.2 They had a son and two daughters, named John, Rebecca and Mary.
