Foulques I "Le Roux" Comte d', known as Le Roux, was born about 0870 in Anjou/Pays-de-la-Loire, France.1 Le Roux's father was Ingelger I Comte d' Orleans & Anjou and his mother is Adelaide de Gastinois. His paternal grandfather was Tertuilus (Tertulle) I Comte d' Anjou and his paternal grandmother is Petronilla de France; his maternal grandparents are Geoffrey Comte de Gastinois and Miss de Amboise. He had a brother named Sibling of Fulk I de. He was the older of the two children. He died in 0941.1 General Notes
