John Arnsberger 
John was born in 1779 in Maryland.1 John's father was Christopher Arnsberger and his mother was Catharina Fahrner. His paternal grandparents were George Henry Arnsberger and Maria Magdalena Rausch. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Christopher, Michael, Frederick, George, Henry, Jacob, Anna Barbara, Catherine, Elizabeth, Esther, Mary and Casandra. He died at the age of 79 on October 20th, 1858 in Cedar Rapids,Linn County,Iowa. He was buried on October 22nd, 1858 in Forest Hill Cemetery,Jones County,Iowa.2 3 General Notes
