Mary Elizabeth was born on May 24th, 1837 in Wesbeck, Cambridge, England. Mary Elizabeth's father was John Pannell WRIGHT and her mother was Mary HILL FISH. Her paternal grandparents were George WRIGHT and Mary PANNELL. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, Thomas, George Fredrik, James, John Fish, Elizabeth OR Betsy, Harriet and Emma.
