Nicholas Firestone 
Nicholas was born on January 30th, 1767 in Mill Creek, Maryland.1 Nicholas' father was Johann Jr. Nicholas Firestone and his mother was Eva Catherine Schwab. His paternal grandparents were Johann Nicholas Sr. Firestone and Margaret Catherine Nunemaker. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 on August 3rd, 1847 in Fairfield Twp., Columbiana Co., OH.1 General Notes
Nicholas was a friend of the Indians, and the Indians showed him this farmland with a spring. In 1827 he bought 320 Acres -- known as the Firestone Farm -- from the Government and gave it to his son Henry for $240.00.
