Grace Adell was born on October 11th, 1889 in Louisville, Kentucky.1 Grace Adell's father was Edward Brown Woodfill and her mother was Mary Jane Brown. Her paternal grandparents were John Hayes Woodfill and Hulda Jane Sinex; her maternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary Jane Scott. She had a brother and six sisters, named Edward Brown, Jr., Lillie Jane, Ann Belle, Blanche May, Florence Ethyl, Sarah Elizabeth and Zerelda A.. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 78 on April 18th, 1968 in New Albany, Indiana.1 -
