Gilbert Williams 
Gilbert was born about 1789 in Probably Nash County N C.1 Gilbert's father was William Williams and his mother was Lucreasy Braswell. His maternal grandparents were William Braswell and Martha Unknown. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William, Jr., Mary, Samuel, Elizabeth, Cloe, Priscilla, Milly, Lucretia and Nancy. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died before 1850 in Coffee Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
