Mary Susan Watson was born in Campbellsville, graduated from high sc
ho ol and moved to Louisville to care for some children of a family fri
en d. After the twins were born, she lived her life for the children a
nd h er husband. She was a great sewer, a great reader and loved church. S
he w as the church librarian for a short time in the late 1940's. After h
er div orce from Earl she and her son, Bill who was 6 when they divorced l
iv ed in the 6th street house. She went to work for P.I. Lorillard and wo
rk ed there until her retirement.
She moved several times after Bill was grown. Mary Susan was an Easte
rn S tar of Order Eastern Star 154 for over 30 years. Mary Susan Watson Mu
rp hy married Omar Sapp, Louisville, Ky.
She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. 9/7/95

William Earl were married in a religious ceremony on May 1st, 1937 in
Green Co., Kentucky.
