Sylvester was born on August 8th, 1860 in Kentucky.1 Sylvester's father was Lewis Warren and his mother was Sally Ann Etherton. His paternal grandparents were William Patrick Warren and Rachel Skaggs. He had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Ausetta, Mary N. and Mary R.. He died at the age of 86 on April 6th, 1947 in Larue Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Larue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
