Stewart was born in 1802 in Caswell Co., North Carolina.1 Stewart's father was Larkin Warren and his mother is Eunice Foley. His paternal grandparents were James Warren and Sarah Link. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James William, Yancy Green, Anderson, Loriena, Kitty and Eliza E.. He is the fourth oldest of the seven children.General Notes
