Stella Eliza was born on August 23rd, 1901 in Allendale, Green Co., Kentucky.1 Stella Eliza's father was Elijah Green,Rev. Walker and her mother was Laura Cranel Elmore. Her maternal grandparents were Warren,Jr. Elmore and Theresa Warren. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Andy Brenten, David Peyton, Oliver Wendall, Homer Otis, Ora Elva, Hallie Content, Nora Palmer, Ola Mabel and Ethel Ella. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 87 on November 23rd, 1988 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
