Thomas Joseph was born in 1819 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 Thomas Joseph's father was Elijah Upton and his mother was Elizabeth Ford. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Upton and Frances Upton. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James B, Absalom, Rachel, Heritage and Martha Frances. He was the third oldest of the six children.1 -
